Miriam Morris was born in Livermore, California. She grew up in Santa Rosa and Chico and subsequently lived
in various locations in Northern California. In 1993, she ended up with her family in Nevada City, where she still
resides and works diligently in her art studio, "The Morris Garage."
Miriam claims to be self-taught, but you can't believe anything she says.
Her ceramic sculpture and other artwork is in many notable and not-so-notable collections, and she has been
included in numerous juried and invitational shows. A detailed list is available on request.
