Entry for February 11, 2008
Not much art news. I've been working on some skeletons for a show sometime in the fall, that I haven't got a venue for yet. I will though. I really like to make skeletons. They always look happy. It's a good way to study how subtle positioning of limbs, the tilt of the skull, gives the otherwise pretty much the same skeletons personality. David Furman did the same sort of thing with those little artist poseable mannikins (made out of clay). I think skeletons are better because it's part of that memento mori thing. Playing with dollies today, dead tomorrow.
