This is an interior view of "Rural Route Rebellion." This piece was made for a
"Box Show" at the now defunct Exploding Head Gallery in Sacramento. This
antique extremely heavy steel mailbox was removed from service after the
front flap fell open and damaged the newspaper deliveryperson's car. It has
bullet holes and terrific orangish paint with addresses painted on it that have
no correlation to its most recent location. It was too interesting to throw away.
So.... it found a new life as a meeting house for rebel rats.
